Paramedics are known to provide one of the most extensive pre-hospital care. Students will learn how to carry out various procedures, including the ability to administer drugs orally and intravenously, interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs), and use monitors and other complex equipment. The paramedic training program here at Medix trains Emergency Medical Technicians as Georgia Certified Paramedics. The course is based on the U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines for Paramedic Course curriculum.
